Avventura Barocca is a Baroque collective of enthusiastic musicians, specialists of historically informed performance, founded by Mezzosoprano Maya Amir. The ensemble’s members – all Graduates of Schola Cantorum Basiliensis - perform virtuoso works of the High and Early Baroque, always in colourful constellations around Maya's beautiful and unique vocal colours. Born in different countries such as Spain, Israel, Germany, Turkey, Japan and Italy, each member adds to the ensemble a genuine flavour. Program Name

Description

The Baroque art uses contrasts, movement, exuberant details, deep colors, grandeur and surprise to create a sense of awe. This concert collects pearls of Baroque vocal and instrumental music of the 18th century from the main European baroque centers of that time: England, France, Spain, Italy and Gemany.
