Monthly programme of May/June 2023

Perhaps you also read it on 5 May: The WHO had ended the coronavirus health emergency. Unfortunately, however, coronavirus is still making life difficult for us here and there. The concert of the chamber choir ‘Sophia’ (Kyiv, Ukraine) on Monday 8 May had to be cancelled due to multiple cases of infection in the choir.

However, there is already a new date: the concert will now take place on Monday, 5 June 2023 at 7:30 pm. Admission free (collection). We hope to see many of you on the new date and hope you will support the collection, which will go entirely to Western Ukrainian choral institutions.

A little earlier, on Thursday, 1 June 2023, the Icelandic ensemble Cantoque will be making a guest appearance. There will be a workshop for choir leaders and an open singing event for all singing enthusiasts with folk songs from Iceland. Further highlights for the coming weeks can also be found below in the monthly programme for May/June.

Last but not least, some publicity on our own behalf: St Paul's Church has been nominated for the Swiss Location Award. You can vote for us up until 31 May and help us achieve a top ranking with a (hopefully) positive evaluation.
