Start of «FireAbend» & upcoming autumn highlights

The start of FireAbend, our new joint series with the Basler Madrigalisten, was a complete success! The Basellandschaftliche Zeitung reviews the exciting evening in its report: https://www.bzbasel.ch/kultur/basel/zwischenruf-diesem-zuendhoelzli-wurde-es-zu-brenzlig-ld.2504147 – The next FireAbend concert will take place on 14 September; this time the composer Thüring Bräm will be our guest. Tickets are available online or at the box office.

The other concerts and events in the coming months also promise some highlights: for example, the Trinational Youth Choir Academy and the Basel Choir Night will once again be our guests with top-class choirs from the region in their second edition. A special organ concert with music by Abba, Queen and Harry Potter will immerse our time-honoured St Paul's organ in unfamiliar sounds. And last but not least, thanks to the arte frizzante orchestra and the Capriccio baroque orchestra, we will once again be able to hear major instrumental works.
